Todd Bryan TB: I facilitate new customers' understanding of Bolt, our cutting-edge software designed to revolutionize scheduling and field operations in trade contracting sectors.

Q: What institutions did you att for education?

TB: Rowan University was my alma mater where I cultivated a minor in education alongside my major in history. The path leading me away from teaching into the realm of construction technology was both seripitous and inevitable given my background.

Q: Tell us about your professional journey thus far.

TB: My uncle, one of the founding partners at MarkSystems, was instrumental in steering me towards a career at his company post-college. My innate interest in construction, coupled with my father’s lifelong experience in this field, naturally propelled me into the industry. I began as a technical support team member before advancing to consulting and trning roles both onsite and within quality assurance. Transitioning to Bolt three years ago, my responsibilities now center around equipping customers with the knowledge they need to harness our software's full potential.

Q: How has your professional environment evolved since you started working in construction technology?

TB: The pivotal role of APIs Application Programming Interfaces cannot be overstated, significantly impacting how applications are integrated rather than isolated through custom solutions. This shift simplifies scalability and expands functionality, enhancing user experience. Simultaneously, the advent of smart technologiessuch as tankless water heaters, solar panels, and a myriad of smart devices for home improvementshas revolutionized our industry's standards.

Q: What activities do you engage in when not immersed in your professional duties?

TB: I prioritize time spent outdoors with my wife. We enjoy exploring new adventures together. Additionally, ultra-urance races serve as an outlet to push my physical and mental limits, offering a rewarding counterbalance to the demands of my career.

Q: What is currently on your reading list or what media are you engrossed in?

TB: Sea Stories by Admiral William McRaven me. It's not just about his illustrious career as a four-star admiral and Navy SEAL but also about the leadership principles he imparts through his experiences.
